The Crawley branch of Tile Depot is providing an extra 10% discount on tiles for employees of Crawley and Horsham Hospitals and Horsham Fire Station, to show some support for those who do the most respected jobs – the firefighters, who risk their lives and the hospital staff, who care for the ill and injured every day.
Tile Depot, on Denvale Retail Park – near Crawley College and the County Mall Shopping Centre – has provided the hospitals and fire station with posters for staff areas, announcing the additional discount on wall and floor tiles for employees and their family members. Tile Depot offers 35% discount for purchases of over 3sqm of tiles to all customers, so with the additional 10%, hospital and fire station employees can claim an extraordinary discount off tiles on any day of the week.
David Fitzgerald, operations director of Tile Depot, said: “The recently announced spending cuts in the public sector and reduction in funding for Fire & Rescue Services will affect hundreds of people in the Crawley area, including our bravest and most caring people and we know it won’t secure local jobs but as a gesture of respect and to make their home improvements more achievable, we are pleased to offer the extra discount to hospital and emergency services personnel.”
