Tile Depot launches free measuring service in Aylesbury

The Aylesbury store of Tile Depot, the UK’s largest independent tile, stone and wood retailer, is the first of its 18 stores across London and the South East to launch a brand new measuring service.

Absolutely free of charge, Tile Depot’s measuring service has been introduced to help customers in and around Aylesbury plan their kitchen and bathroom makeovers with advice on design and fitting.

Appointments are available seven days a week, at which a member of the experienced Tile Depot team will visit the customer’s home to discuss their plans and measure up the room accurately; they will take some samples along and give tips and information on which type of tile will work best, how to use different sized tiles and where to add borders, mosaics and decorative tiles to complete the look they want.

Pas Santaniello, manager of Tile Depot’s Aylesbury store, who has worked with tiles for the last 12 years, said: “Customers often aren’t confident with the amount of tiles they’re ordering, particularly if they’re not getting a tiler involved, so us measuring the room takes that pressure away from them and by taking samples along, they can see the tiles in the light of the actual room they’ll be fitted in, which helps a great deal in the selection process. There is a constant raft of new designs and we’re looking forward to helping our customers design and plan their kitchens and bathrooms on-site, getting a real understanding of what they’re looking for.”
