All items are subject to availability at time of order.

Placing Your Order

Remembering your financial details isn’t easy, and typing them in to pay for something is sometimes time consuming. Use PayPal to shop online and let it securely remember your card details.

You get an extra layer of security when you use PayPal. That’s because all your financial information (like your bank account details and your credit card number) is securely stored and encrypted on PayPal's servers. So you don’t need to share your financial information with The Tile Depot or expose your details online. 

After choosing your items from our vast available range you should then go to the “checkout” area of our website. You will then be transferred to PayPal.

Order Acceptance and Completion

Your order will be confirmed to you via email once we have received payment and providing that you have given us your email address. Whether you receive the email or not, your payment for and our acceptance of your order will create a legally binding contract between us.

Pricing
All of the prices shown on our website are inclusive of VAT. However, delivery charges are not included- please see details below.

 We aim to provide the correct prices at all times for our products on the website, but if this is not the case at the time of your order then we will contact you to confirm the correct price for the goods and establish whether you wish to proceed with the order or be provided with a refund in full.

Installation

Installation work or labour to undertake your work should not be scheduled until we have delivered the goods to your premises. This will ensure that all goods are fully available at time of installation and also allow you to order additional materials if required.

Tile Depot cannot be held responsible for any third party costs incurred due to planning ahead of full and correct delivery of goods ordered.

Delivery Rates
All orders will incur a delivery charge of £18.95 unless the order is in excess of £150 in value, where delivery will be free of charge. Please note that this price only covers delivery to mainland UK addresses. For deliveries to Ireland, Islands and Overseas please contact us for a quote.

Delivery charges are inclusive of VAT and are non-refundable.


Deliveries
We will advise you of the delivery day for your goods. Normal delivery times are between 8:00am and 6:00pm. Someone will need to be present at the time of delivery to accept and sign for the goods as a failed delivery may result in you incurring a re-delivery charge. Please note our delivery Service is only available for online purchases.

As we use national carriers to fulfill our deliveries it is not possible to guarantee a 100% success rate on the confirmed delivery day. However, recent checks have a measured a 97.5% success rate.

Order Cancellation
If you wish to cancel an item or order, you must inform us  by email, or by post.

Cancellation must be made within 7 days of placing your order. If we have sent a despatch email notification before the cancellation is made then the delivery charge is non refundable. If the cancellation is made before the despatch email is sent by us then all charges are refunded.

Faulty Goods

If the products purchased are faulty, and providing that we are informed within 28 days of receipt of the goods, we will offer a like replacement. If the goods are not available then a full refund will be made. Faults resulting from misuse, neglect, accident, incorrect installation or normal wear and tear will not be covered.

If a collection is required then you should contact us by email at sales@thetiledepot.co.uk or by telephone on 0800 0902801, quoting your sales receipt number. Please note that goods can only be collected between 8am and 5.30pm Monday to Friday.

Alternatively you can return faulty items with your sales receipt within 48 hours of delivery to one of our stores where replacements will be offered to you providing that they are in stock. It is advisable to contact the store first to establish that the branch has the stock, in order to prevent a wasted journey.

It may take up to 28 days to verify and process your claim once the goods have been collected from you. Due to banking laws all refunds must be credited to the original payment card used. If more than one item was ordered but a lesser quantity is returned due to faults then the delivery charge is non refundable.

Damaged Goods

You should notify us within 48 hours of receiving delivery if any of the goods you have purchased arrive damaged. If a collection is required then you should contact us by email at sales@thetiledepot.co.uk or by telephone on 0800 0902801, quoting your sales receipt number. Please note that goods can only be collected between 8am and 5.30pm Monday to Friday.

Alternatively you can return damaged items with your sales receipt within 48 hours of delivery to one of our stores where replacements will be offered to you providing that they are in stock. It is advisable to contact the store first to establish that the branch has the stock, in order to prevent a wasted journey.

It may take up to 28 days to verify and process your claim once the goods have been collected from you. Due to banking laws all refunds must be credited to the original payment card used. If more than one item was ordered but a lesser quantity is returned due to damage then the delivery charge is non refundable.

Missing Goods

If you are missing an item, please can you call our customer team within 24 hours of receiving delivery on 0800 0902801 quoting the order number and the missing item's name and number. We will resolve the issue for you as quickly as we can.

Refunds

Items must be returned within 28 days of receipt of your goods. The goods must be in their original packaging and must be undamaged and fully resalable

Once returned and verified as being in the correct condition, a refund will be issued to you for the full price of the goods less the delivery charges. If the goods that are returned or not in a fully resalable condition or the packaging is damaged, then we reserve the right to refuse the refund. This does not affect your statutory rights. 

Goods can either be returned to your local store with your sales receipt or if this is inconvenient or impractical then goods can be returned via carrier to:-

A copy of your original receipt must be placed in an envelope and then securely attached to the returning goods.

Alternatively, we can arrange to have a carrier collect the goods from your premises. We will then obtain a quotation for you for the cost of the return and then contact you to arrange collection day and payment before collection is arranged. Please note that goods can only be collected between 8am and 7pm Monday to Friday.

It may take up to 28 days to verify and process your claim once the goods have been collected from you. Due to banking laws all refunds must be credited to the original payment card used.

Exchange
Items can be exchanged within 28 days of receipt of your goods. The goods must be in their original packaging and must be undamaged and fully resalable

Goods can either be exchanged at your local store with your sales receipt or if this is inconvenient we can arrange to have a carrier collect the goods from your premises. If this is required then you should contact us by email at sales@thetiledepot.co.uk or by telephone on 0800 0902801, quoting your sales receipt number. We will then obtain a quotation for you for the cost of the return and then contact you to arrange collection day and payment before collection is arranged. Please note that goods can only be collected between 8am and 5.30pm Monday to Friday.

Statutory Rights

Please note that these terms do not affect your statutory rights. For more information you should contact your local Citizens Advice Bureau or  Trading Standards Office.
