Guide to Porcelain Tiles
Porcelain tiles are beautiful to look at and are extremely hard wearing. They are made from pure materials fired at very high temperatures to produce tiles that are stain, scratch, shock, frost and chemical resistant.
Many can be used indoors or outdoors and are available in matt and gloss finishes and glazed or polished.
Porcelain tiles tend to need to be sealed before and after grouting to ensure they maintain their beautiful appearance. However, “nano” porcelain tiles don’t need sealing as they have had a solvent added at the time of manufacture which fills the microscopic pores.
